This article explains how to allow candidates to continue test attempts without the manager’s approval.
The “Allow test continuation” option is enabled
If enabled, the candidates can pause, and later continue the test within the test availability period. The candidate can accomplish this during the test attempt by clicking on the “Continue later” button.
In case of technical issues, if the candidate refreshes the page or loses the internet connection, they will always be able to continue the test without the manager’s approval.
The “Allow test continuation” option is not enabled
In case the “Allow test continuation” option is not enabled, the candidates will not be able to continue the test attempt on their own in case of technical issues if the candidate refreshes the page or loses the internet connection
To allow the candidates to continue the test attempt on their own in case of test interruption (but do not allow candidates to pause the exam by clicking the “Continue later” button during the test-taking), you must allow the “Attempt continuation always enabled” option. To do so,
- Navigate to the “System” tab in the main menu, then select the “Settings and customization“.
- From the “System Preferences” tab, select the “Additional modules setup”
- Enable the “Attempt continuation always enabled” option.
